Dr. Gedion talks to the Iranian Special Envoy
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Gedion Timothewos, today held a meeting with Ambassador Eshagh Al Habib, Special Assistant and Envoy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was noted during their interviews that Ethiopia and Iran are countries with ancient civilizations and cultures.
The two parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations and exchanged views on future areas of cooperation.
Ethiopia and Iran celebrated 75 years of diplomatic relations.
