Somali Foreign Minister arrives in Tripoli for a presidential visit to strengthen bilateral relations
Tripoli, February 23/February 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Ahmed Maalam Faqi Ahmed, arrived today Sunday, in Tripoli, ahead of the presidential visit, to push bilateral relations and expand the horizons of cooperation between Somalia and Libya in the main areas of common interest.
H.E. President Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud is set to arrive on an official visit, where high-level talks will be held with H.E. the President of the Presidential Council of Libya, Dr. Mohamed Al-Manfi, to uplift the long-standing relations between the two sister countries, promote bilateral cooperation, and explore opportunities for mutual growth and development.
